In December 2024, DN revealed that the then-national security advisor Henrik Landerholm had been involved in two security incidents.
He had forgotten his phone at the Hungarian embassy in late 2022 and left a notebook at Sveriges Radio after an interview in early 2023.
Contained Secret NATO Conversation
Shortly after the revelation, Henrik Landerholm admitted that he had also forgotten documents at a conference center. It was later discovered that a cleaner found them at the center.
DN recently reported that the documents included a secret conversation with U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. Specifically, the conversation involved a strategy to persuade Turkey to allow Sweden into NATO.
