Shortly after midnight, police were alerted to Barkarby, north of Stockholm, due to a shooting.
"We are on site with significant resources," says Carina Skagerlind, police spokesperson.
According to information from Aftonbladet, a man in his 20s was found injured behind Ikea.
The shooting reportedly occurred behind the outlet area in Barkarby, according to the police.
The police have not confirmed the identity of the injured person but stated that the individual has been taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
The current condition of the victim is unclear. No arrests have been made.

Several people and vehicles have been checked in the area, and the crime scene has been cordoned off for a forensic investigation.
