Rapper Yasin Faces Million-Kronor Tax Blow After Luxury Purchases
Rapper Yasin is facing a tax bill of nearly 1.3 million kronor, reports Nyhetsbyrån Siren. According to the Swedish Tax Agency, he has used company funds for travel and luxury clothing purchases.
Yasin Mahmoud, 27, is set to perform at a rare concert this weekend at the Trädgården festival in Kristianstad. Earlier this year, planned performances at Brännbollsyran and in Borlänge were canceled due to police concerns over security.
Yasin has been convicted of several crimes and was previously linked by police to the criminal network Shottaz.
Now, Yasin is hit with a tax bill of nearly 1.3 million kronor.
This comes after his company, Nomad Empire, was thoroughly audited by the Swedish Tax Agency.
The agency found travel and purchases deemed personal in nature, including "props" from luxury stores and meals at McDonald's, as well as trips to Ghana, Tenerife, and Japan.
“Prada, Gucci..."
"Your business lacks the need for specialized protective clothing. The clothes you purchased from fashion stores such as Prada, Gucci, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Moss Bros, Balmain, Hugo Boss, Dior, Dolce Gabbana, Moncler, Yves Saint Laurent, Diesel, and Levi Strauss are branded clothing sold to consumers for private use," writes the Swedish Tax Agency.
Yasin has been living abroad for several years, in a European country, and leads a family life.
