Putin, Xi, and Kim Stand United: Trump Accuses Them of Conspiring Against the US
Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-Un stood alongside Xi Jinping during a massive military parade in China. Simultaneously, Donald Trump accused Xi, Putin, and Kim of "conspiring against the USA." Xi, on his part, stated that China "will never be intimidated by bullies."
Nearly 30 heads of state were present at the enormous military parade held in Beijing on Wednesday night, Swedish time, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Japan's defeat in World War II.
However, it was these three leaders who captured all the attention.
North Korea's leader Kim Jong-Un and Russia's President Vladimir Putin flanked China's President Xi Jinping on their way to the parade. It is believed to be the first time the three leaders have met.
Xi: China is Unstoppable
In his opening speech, Xi declared that China is "unstoppable."
"The Chinese nation will never be intimidated by bullies and always moves forward," said Xi Jinping.
He stated that this marks a "new era and a new journey."
Eighty cannon shots were fired, matching the number of years since the end of World War II, before Xi ordered the parade to begin at 3 AM Swedish time.
Trump: You Are Conspiring Against the USA
During the parade, over 10,000 soldiers, tanks, and parts of China's missile arsenal passed through Tiananmen Square. Numerous military aircraft and helicopters flew over the site.
Xi and Kim were seen conversing as they observed the parade.
In conjunction with the parade, US President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social, addressing Xi Jinping:
"Please convey my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-Un as you conspire against the USA," Trump wrote.
He also questioned whether China would mention "the enormous support and blood that the USA gave China to help secure its freedom" during World War II.
"Many Americans died in China's pursuit of victory and glory. I hope they are rightfully honored and remembered for their courage and sacrifices," Trump wrote.
