Kronofogden Auctions 1.Cuz's Iconic Mask After Debt Seizure

Kronofogden has unmasked the indebted 1.Cuz. Now, his characteristic ski mask is being auctioned.

On May 30, artist 1.Cuz was in Umeå to perform at the Brännbollsyran music festival. Kronofogden seized the opportunity to act against him and execute a seizure.

The authority took, among other things, the artist's ski mask, a garment he always wears to conceal his face. The mask is now available for bidding at Kronofogden's auction.

The item has been listed with a starting price of 1,000 kronor.

In the advertisement, Kronofogden has listed defects on the item: “Signs of wear.”

For those interested in seeing the garment in person, a viewing will be held in central Skellefteå on June 23.

Debt of 949,733 kronor

1.Cuz has previously been sentenced to prison for, among other things, drug offenses and serious weapons offenses. Police documents state that he “is part of a criminal network that meets the EU's definition of organized crime.”

Mattias Lindgren previously told Expressen that 1.Cuz has a large debt to Kronofogden.

– It's 949,733 kronor. There are two debts on the tax account, one to the crime victim fund, and fines, he said after the seizure.

During the inspection, Kronofogden took the mask and a Prada vest.
