Jan Rippe's Delightful Summer on Smögen

Jan Rippe and Per Fritzell will be guests at this summer's 'Allsång på Skansen'. However, there is still time for vacation, and they share their plans with Expressen.

– I've been spending my summers in Smögen, Bohuslän since I was a child, says Jan Rippe.

On July 15, Jan Rippe and Per Fritzell from 'Galenskaparna' will take the stage at the sing-along event alongside Pernilla Wahlgren. But that's not all they have planned for the summer.

– We will actually vacation in Sweden. We have our favorite spots on both the east and west coasts, says Per Fritzell.

– I've been spending my summers in Smögen, Bohuslän since I was a child. So, I will be there all summer now as well, says Jan Rippe.

What shouldn't you miss in Smögen?

– Of course, it's Smögenbryggan, everyone should go there. Shop and eat. There are many incredibly good restaurants in Smögen this year, or in the last 10 years, says Rippe.

He also highlights the cliffs and swimming spots in Smögen, as well as the Amaze music festival.

Per Fritzell Visits

Every summer, Per Fritzell also visits Smögen to see his good friend, but right now they are busy.

– We are out touring and continue the two of us. We've been performing together for 45 years, and we have more fun than ever, and it's so enjoyable, says Fritzell.

– We've created some kind of security in what we do on stage, so we're never nervous anymore. We have fun and can basically improvise everything, he continues.

Do you ever get tired of each other?

– No, we don't get tired, says Rippe.
