Explosive New Book Seals Prince Andrew's Fate
The new scandalous book about Prince Andrew seals his fate, according to royal experts. Historian Andrew Lownie reveals new details about the prince's sexual escapades, making him vulnerable.
– He's so foolish that he doesn't realize how foolish he is, says the author.
A new scandal book about Prince Andrew is set to release in October. In 'Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York', historian Andrew Lownie writes revealingly about the disgraced royal: his extravagant sex life, vulgar humor, and rude behavior.
According to Lownie, the prince allegedly had sexual encounters with between 1,000 and 3,000 women, and his sex addiction made him susceptible to blackmail situations, notably by convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
– Jeffrey Epstein provided women and then used it to blackmail people, and Andrew, I'm afraid, walked right into the honey trap. Not just with Epstein but with many others as well, Lownie says in an interview with Daily Mail's 'Palace Confidential'.
This behavior also made him an easy target for foreign states.
– He's so foolish that he doesn't realize how foolish he is, says Lownie.
Princes' Shared Disdain
Princes William and Harry, who have their own publicized dispute, are united in their disdain for their uncle, according to the author. Prince William will never forgive Andrew for tarnishing the royal family, nor for being rude to Princess Kate. Despite some superficial similarities between Harry and Andrew, the exiled prince cannot stand his older relative. According to Lownie, Harry has told William that he 'hates' Andrew.
– Neither of them is particularly smart. Both take things for granted. Both are weak men with strong, ambitious wives. There are interesting parallels there. But I don't think Harry has much regard for him.
– William sees him as a burden to the monarchy... I think he would be horrified if he knew the whole story – which I suspect he doesn't – about what Andrew has been up to. When William comes to power, Andrew will be finished.
The Daily Mail has published several excerpts from the book this week, gaining significant attention in the UK. It also tells of how he berates staff for not addressing royals deferentially enough, his school failures, and losing his virginity at age 11.
– This book seems to seal Andrew's fate if he ever hoped to be officially reinstated among the working royals, says Professor Pauline Maclaran to the BBC.
