Ghislaine Maxwell to Reveal New Evidence from Prison: 'She Knows Everything'
Donald Trump is mentioned in the Epstein documents, according to the Wall Street Journal. Meanwhile, Epstein's accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell is set to present new evidence from prison—something she has never done before.
"She knows everything," says Epstein's former lawyer Alan Dershowitz.
The Epstein affair has triggered a political crisis for Donald Trump. New information about the president's connections with the convicted and deceased sex offender emerges daily. According to sources from the Wall Street Journal, Trump's name appears in the Epstein investigation, which the government has been reluctant to disclose. The White House dismisses the claim as "fake news."
Epstein's ex-girlfriend and former associate Ghislaine Maxwell was the one who recruited underage girls to have sex with Epstein. She was sentenced in 2021 to 20 years in prison for sex trafficking.
Maxwell has never given her version of events to federal prosecutors before the trial. She also did not testify in her own defense.
New Evidence
Now, her brother Ian Maxwell says his sister is gathering "new evidence" that she will present to federal authorities in early August. Additionally, she is set to meet with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche soon.
"She will present new evidence that was not available for her defense at the trial and would have had a significant impact on the outcome," he told the New York Post.
Epstein's former lawyer has also said that Maxwell should receive immunity to testify in Congress.
"She arranged every trip with everyone. She knows everything," says Alan Dershowitz.
Organized Parties
Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein's victims, has stated that Maxwell was the one who organized parties and trips for high-profile financiers and politicians who flew on Epstein's private plane and attended his parties.
Giuffre has testified against the couple and took her own life earlier this year.
"She was evil. Epstein was Pinocchio, and she was Geppetto. She was the one pulling the strings," Giuffre said.
Maxwell herself has denied remembering anything that happened on Epstein's private jet, even though she was on the plane 23 times with Giuffre, according to flight logs.
Giuffre has claimed that she had sex with high-profile men, including the British Prince Andrew.
"If she reveals any of the people she has videos of, they will not be happy," Giuffre said in an interview with CBS News in 2020.
Pressure Increases on Trump
Pressure has increased on the Trump administration to release the Epstein investigation and find out which individuals were involved in the sex trafficking. Trump's reluctance to do so has led many Republicans and supporters to turn against him.
Trump socialized with Epstein during the 1990s.
