Civil Defense Minister Carl-Oskar Bohlin's Google Calendar Exposed Online

Details from Civil Defense Minister Carl-Oskar Bohlin's Google calendar have been found accessible on the internet. Among the entries is an invitation to a meeting with the board in Borlänge. Carl-Oskar Bohlin stated on X that this "will be addressed."

Through one's own Google calendar, it is possible to search for other people's email addresses and see if they have scheduled events, such as meetings. This requires the person to have an open calendar; it is not possible to find just anyone.

One of those whose calendar is open is Civil Defense Minister Carl-Oskar Bohlin, as first reported by Aftonbladet. Expressen has also accessed entries from Carl-Oskar Bohlin's Google calendar. Among the entries is a reminder to "bring sourdough" and another for a meeting with the board in Borlänge.

Not a Professional Calendar

According to Aftonbladet, more information can be extracted from the calendar. It is possible to obtain invitations to Teams meetings with passwords to enter. It is also possible to see what the meetings are about.

The calendar entries include exact locations where the minister has been summoned. However, the meeting requests in the calendar are unanswered.

"I will naturally ensure as soon as possible that it is no longer available, but to describe it as a security risk that I had a digital Christmas glögg with Gunnar Strömmer five years ago, open to all interested, is perhaps a bit exaggerated," he writes.

Carl-Oskar Bohlin: "Will Be Addressed"

On X, Carl-Oskar Bohlin writes that he does not use Google's calendar. He also says that the events in question have been readable on his social media.

"Of course, this calendar should not be open, even if it is not used and only contains a handful of calendar invitations that I do not attend throughout an entire calendar year, and it will be addressed," he writes.

Earlier today, it was revealed that the proposed new leader of the Liberals, Simona Mohamsson's Google calendar, was also open online, as first reported by DN. Her calendar revealed, among other things, a meeting for "vetting" at 4 PM on Tuesday.
