Charlotte Perrelli's Grand Midsummer Celebration in Marbella

During Midsummer, a joyful group gathers at Charlotte Perrelli's luxurious home in Marbella for a grand celebration.

In the exclusive area of La Zagaleta, 500 meters above sea level with a magnificent view, Charlotte Perrelli lives with her family. La Zagaleta is known for its luxury villas and has several world stars as neighbors.

On Midsummer, the family goes all out. It will be a pool party—a tradition the family maintains.

"Many, many years ago when we lived up in Torrevieja in Villamartin, we had a small, quite shallow children's pool, and we inaugurated it with grandpa standing with wreaths around his hands, acting as the Midsummer pole, and everyone danced around him and sang. So we've continued a bit with that, and I hope he dares to get into the pool here now on Friday," says Perrelli when Expressen meets her at the house.

All the children will also be present, as well as friends.

Perrelli's Famous Midsummer Guests

Among others, Jessica Wahlgren and her love Magnus Norman will attend.

"They will also come here and join in the craziness, with wreaths, herring, schnapps, potatoes, and homemade cake."

Baking is close to Charlotte Perrelli's heart, so there will be more than one cake.

"No, I debated with Alessio, one of the sons, and he thought 'cheesecake is good and strawberry,' so it will be a strawberry cheesecake, and then always a classic strawberry cake, that's a must."

However, some guests are not fond of cream.

"So I usually make a chocolate mousse cake, which is based on cream, but they don't realize that. So it works out great," says Perrelli with a laugh.
