On Monday, Zelensky will fly to Washington to meet Donald Trump, accompanied by several European leaders.
Zelensky has now arrived in Brussels. He will have a meeting with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, followed by a joint press conference.
During the day, a phone call will also take place with Sweden's Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, France's President Emmanuel Macron, Germany's Chancellor Friedrich Merz, the UK's Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and Finland's President Alexander Stubb. They will discuss their stance ahead of Monday's meeting.
On Saturday, several European leaders demanded that Zelensky play a larger role in future talks, stating that peace cannot be achieved without him.
They also oppose granting Russia veto power over Ukraine's EU and NATO membership and announced their readiness to extend sanctions against Russia. The leaders also welcome the proposed summit between Trump, Putin, and Zelensky.
