A woman visiting a restaurant on the Gotland coast with her family was shocked to find an offensive note on her receipt describing her appearance. The restaurant manager apologized and waived the bill, promising such an incident would not happen again.

The woman and her family were looking forward to a pleasant dining experience. However, when the receipt arrived, she was in for a shock.
"Fat lady in a floral dress," was noted on the receipt, reports Helagotland.
Last Wednesday, the woman had traveled to the Gotland coast with her family and relatives. After a day at the beach, they headed to a nearby restaurant for a meal.
They were having a good time until the woman's son noticed a note on the receipt.
"Fat lady in a floral dress," it read.
"I understand it's to identify me, but it still felt terrible. For my son too—to see his mother being called fat when we go out to eat," the woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, told Helagotland.
Restaurant's Response: "Completely Wrong"
They called the restaurant manager, who apologized and waived the bill.
"It was completely wrong, and we've had a clear discussion about it. This will definitely never happen again," he told the newspaper.
The restaurant has now implemented table numbers to remember where orders should go.
