A woman in her 30s was discovered dead in an apartment in Limhamn, Malmö on Tuesday afternoon. A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
The woman was found on Tuesday, and the police stated that the circumstances surrounding the case were "very unclear," prompting a murder investigation to determine how the woman died.
According to prosecutor Desiré Hammar, the arrested man was apprehended in the deceased woman's residence in Limhamn. They reportedly had some form of relationship.
"The suspect denies the accusation and will be questioned again later today with a defense attorney present," says Desiré Hammar.
In connection with the incident, a CPR alert was issued, and several people arrived at the scene. The police are now seeking those who left the scene before providing witness statements.
