Woman Charged with Severe Sexual Assault Against a Child

A woman in her 40s has been charged with severe sexual assault against a child. She committed the assault in the Stockholm area against a girl under the age of 15. The accused is also suspected of distributing child pornographic films.

A woman is on trial at Solna District Court for committing severe sexual assault against a minor girl. According to the indictment, she documented the assault on film.

Her victim was under 15 years old at the time. The suspected woman, who is in her 40s, is alleged to have distributed three child pornographic films. She denies the charges.

The Crime is Considered Severe

"The crime should be considered severe as it involved a ruthless exploitation of the victim due to the victim's young age and occurred in a place where the victim had the right to feel safe," according to the indictment.

The woman "has depicted children in child pornographic films by filming three movies, which is considered particularly ruthless assault material," it further states.

The alleged assaults took place in the Stockholm area at the end of 2023.
