The collaboration between Vinted and Postnord, which offered free reusable packaging to promote eco-friendly logistics, has been paused by Vinted. This decision has disappointed many sellers, as the initiative was seen as a step towards sustainable transport solutions.

Vinted and Postnord End Partnership on Free Reusable Packaging
In November last year, the second-hand app Vinted and Postnord began a collaboration. Now, that partnership has been terminated.
The initiative aimed to offer a free reusable packing bag instead of the controversial solutions like shoeboxes, garbage bags, and old food containers, which were common and could cause issues.
Postnord described the collaboration as "an important step towards more environmentally friendly transport and logistics."
However, the partnership ended over the summer at Vinted's initiative, causing disappointment in various seller groups on Facebook.
A shame, according to Postnord.
– Postnord continuously conducts pilot projects and development collaborations with various brands and partners. The Vinted bag was appreciated by many but has now been paused by Vinted for evaluation, says Richard Wahlström from Postnord's press service.
What's Happening Now
Several sellers report that they were not informed by Vinted about the terminated partnership.
Expressen has sought Vinted without success.
In an email to GP, Lilly Berns, PR strategist at the second-hand site, writes:
"This project was part of our ongoing work to explore delivery solutions and continue improving our member experience. However, it was a temporary test, and we have decided to pause it for now while we assess its feasibility. We are committed to testing and learning to offer the best possible service to our members."
– The project has shown that there is a demand for user-friendly and sustainable packaging. We are now looking at how we can continue to meet that demand ourselves or through collaborations, says Richard Wahlström at Postnord.
