Two Injured in Shooting Incident
Two people have been injured following a shooting in Flemingsberg, south of Stockholm. Police were initially alerted to a disturbance in a stairwell.
The police received the call about the disturbance at 7:45 PM on Thursday evening. A caller also reported hearing sounds resembling gunshots.
– Upon arrival, two injured men were found near the building. One of them is believed to have a gunshot wound, says police spokesperson Per Fahlström.
Both have now been taken to the hospital by ambulance.
According to the police, they were conscious and able to speak.
– We have initiated a preliminary investigation into attempted murder and are currently conducting a police operation at the scene. A technical investigation will be carried out.
The police have not disclosed whether anyone has been detained at this time.
