Two cars collided on Monday morning on the E22 near Norrköping. Three people have been taken to the hospital. Following the accident, reports emerged of drivers going against the traffic direction.

The alarm was received by the emergency services at 07:17.
All three individuals involved in the crash have been taken to the hospital for examination.
– They were able to exit the vehicles on their own, says police spokesperson Martina Gradian.
The collision caused a complete traffic stop at the location. Police later issued a warning as several drivers began driving in the wrong direction following the queues that formed after the accident.
– It is extremely inappropriate and also illegal to drive incorrectly. We do not want more traffic accidents, says Martina Gradian.
The police dispatched more patrols to direct traffic correctly. They are also investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
It is too early to say if any crime is suspected.
By 9:15, the cars were towed, and traffic was flowing again.
