The Future of Influencers: Health Risks and Appearance in 25 Years

Eczema, hunchback, and hair loss. This is how influencers might look in just 25 years.

A glamorous life and a perfectly curated appearance are what many associate with the word 'influencers.' However, experts at the gaming site Casino.org suggest that the stars of social media might soon look very different.

Between 30 to 50 million people worldwide are influencers, and this number is increasing every year, according to the site, referencing The Economist.

To illustrate the consequences of influencers' poor habits, 'Ava' has been created. She is the influencer of 2050, and her grotesque appearance is based on various studies, reports the New York Post.

Constantly looking down at phones and twisting the body into unnatural 'poses' has given Ava both poor posture and chronic neck pain.

'Among smartphone users, you almost always see their necks in a position with a 15 to 60-degree bend,' write researchers in the scientific journal Interdisciplinary Neurosurgery.

This is just one of the many issues future influencers might face.

Eczema and Thinning Hair

Daily use of makeup and frequent changes in skincare routines can lead to eczema. Additionally, skin can be negatively affected by blue screen light and LED ring lights.

Irregular work hours, hours spent editing in front of a computer screen, and late nights scrolling on the phone can disrupt sleep and create dark, puffy circles under the eyes.
