On May 4th this year, a 16-year-old girl arranged to meet a 17-year-old boy she knew from school. When they met in southern Stockholm, her 15-year-old boyfriend was also present.
According to the indictment, when the 17-year-old arrived, her boyfriend stabbed him in the chest.
The girlfriend helped her boyfriend flee the scene and is accused of encouraging the act. They went to her home, where they washed and hid the knife.
Both are now charged with attempted murder, and the prosecutor believes there was a risk the crime could have been completed. The girlfriend is alternatively charged with aiding and abetting murder. Both deny the charges.
The 17-year-old survived but sustained lung injuries.
Consulted Chat GPT
After the incident, the 15-year-old used Chat GPT on his phone to ask how to dispose of evidence after a murder, starting his query with: “I’m going to make a movie...”.
In a chat conversation immediately after the incident, both expressed a wish for the 17-year-old to die.
“Imagine if he’s dead. We hope so,” the girl wrote.
“Yes, then he can’t snitch,” the boy replied.
The 16-year-old girl also reportedly asked Chat GPT in the spring about the consequences of stabbing someone in the thigh and inquired about psychopathic and sociopathic behaviors.
Nude Photos Spread
According to the 17-year-old, the 16-year-old asked if he wanted to meet and smoke on the night in question. He claims the boyfriend accused him of spreading photos of his girlfriend before the stabbing.
The 16-year-old girl stated in interrogation that the 17-year-old tried to sell drugs to them and started the fight.
Both suspects claim in interrogation that the 17-year-old spread videos of the 16-year-old being sexually assaulted. The indictment states they also discussed what to do to others who had the images or videos.
In interrogation, the 17-year-old said he remembers some photos of the 16-year-old being spread by her then-boyfriend in the summer of 2022. He admitted to sending them to some classmates. He recalls they were nude photos. He also mentioned having had a sexual relationship with her previously.
The teenage couple is also charged with assaulting another 15-year-old boy in March this year. They allegedly arranged to meet him and then punched and kneed him in the face and body.
