The world's biggest artist is releasing a new album. Taylor Swift has unveiled details about the recordings during her world tour.
"I had three days off, flew to Sweden, went back to the tour," she says in the podcast "New Heights."
'The Life of a Showgirl' is the title of Taylor Swift's new album. On Thursday night, Swedish time, the global artist revealed several details about the album.
The album, recorded during the 'Eras Tour,' will be released on October 3.
'The Life of a Showgirl' features many Swedish elements.
The Swedish super producers Max Martin and Karl Johan "Shellback" Schuster have contributed to the creation of the 12 tracks.
"Max Martin is my mentor," Swift says in the podcast "New Heights."
"Three Days Off, Flew to Sweden"
Swift shares how she flew to Sweden to record the new album during the 'Eras Tour.'
"When I was in Stockholm on tour, Max Martin came to the show, and I told him we could really create something great here. We recorded everything in Sweden."
This is also the first time in eight years that Swift, Martin, and Shellback have worked together—and the first time ever that just the three of them are producing an album.
"These guys, they are geniuses. I had three days off, flew to Sweden, went back to the tour."
Behind the Global Hits
Max Martin and Shellback are behind some of Taylor Swift's biggest hits like "I Knew You Were Trouble," "Shake It Off," "Blank Space," and "22."
The last time they worked together was on the album 'Reputation' from 2017.
Swedish producers Ali Payami, Oscar Görres, and Oscar Holter also participated in that album.
