Swedish Record Jackpot Winner Found After Four Days
Last Friday, a Swedish individual won over 409 million kronor in the Eurojackpot. It wasn't until today that Svenska Spel managed to contact the winner, who had been completely unaware of their fortune.

Last Friday, a Swede won 409 million kronor—the third-largest win in Svenska Spel's history. However, it took several days before Svenska Spel finally reached the winner on Tuesday, who had been entirely oblivious to their multi-million win.
Thought It Was Spam
The winner eventually called back after repeated attempts by the company to make contact via phone, email, and SMS. Svenska Spel stated this in a press release.
"I saw that a number had tried to call me several times, but I thought it might be a spam number. So I blocked it. It was only when I saw an email from Svenska Spel that I began to suspect something was up—and then I called back," the winner explained.
"Can't Understand Anything"
Just minutes before the call, the winner checked their numbers and couldn't believe their eyes.
"It's completely crazy. My heart raced when I checked my numbers and saw that they all matched. I can't understand anything. I can't believe it's true. I'm completely speechless. I never thought I would win this," the person said in the press release.
From Svenska Spel's side, it has been a few nerve-wracking days, and they are now delighted to have reached the winner.
"It was an incredibly joyful and emotional call. A very wonderful feeling to finally congratulate the winner on the jackpot win. Now the winner needs to take some time to process this unbelievable win before it's time for a bank meeting where the prize will be awarded," wrote Sofie Hodén, a spokesperson at Svenska Spel, in an SMS.
