Swedish Nationalist Andreas Broman Killed in Ukraine

Swedish national Andreas Broman has been reported dead in Ukraine, according to GD. Despite lacking military experience, he was determined to fight against Russia. He was open about his far-right sympathies but claimed he did not fight for such a group.

On Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed SVT News that a Swedish man in his mid-30s was found dead at the front line in Donbass.

Now, relatives confirm to Gefle Dagblad that it was Andreas Broman, who died just over a week ago.

Broman, from Sandviken, was determined to go to Ukraine to fight against Russia following the full-scale invasion in 2022, despite his lack of military experience.

Expressen has also previously reported on Andreas Broman's involvement in the fighting.

Had Nazi Sympathies

Broman had Nazi sympathies, with tattoos and statements linked to far-right ideas. He confirmed his views in an interview with GD two years ago, where he denied the Holocaust.

– There is really no evidence. Everything is just stories that are repeated, he claimed about it.

At the same time, Broman claimed he did not fight for any far-right group.

In 2023, he was forced to return to Sweden after a serious injury but later returned to the front line.
