Swedish Model and TV Personality Arrested in Italy

A Swedish man in his 40s, known as a model and TV personality, has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence against his partner during a vacation in Italy. This was reported by Italian media.

The arrest took place during the night between Friday and Saturday at a resort in northwestern Italy where the couple was vacationing.

According to the media, a dispute between the man and the woman escalated, prompting witnesses to alert the police.

When the patrol arrived and spoke with the woman, it emerged that similar incidents had occurred previously, leading the police to activate a 'code red'—a legal tool for swift intervention in suspected domestic violence cases—and arrest the man.

The man, who is in his 40s, originally hails from southern Sweden but has been living abroad for several years.

A detention hearing for the man is scheduled for Monday, according to the media.
