
Swedish Man Arrested in Thailand for Cocaine Trafficking
A Swedish man has been arrested in Thailand on suspicion of cocaine trafficking. He was apprehended alongside a Thai woman outside a Seven Eleven store in Patong, reports Scandasia. Police seized 15.37 grams of cocaine.
A Swedish man in his 40s and a Thai woman in her 30s were arrested in Patong, Thailand, last Saturday. This was reported by Scandasia, citing the police in Patong on Phuket and local media.
The pair were detained outside a Seven Eleven store on Ratchapatanusorn Road in Patong, and later, police searched their apartment in Rawai. Police confiscated 15.37 grams of cocaine, 80 small bags intended for containing drugs, a small digital scale, and two mobile phones.
The police also seized the couple's MG car.
They are suspected of drug trafficking, according to the police in Patong, who announced that the couple was arrested by a team led by Police Superintendent Chalermchai Hoernsawat.
