A lotto player bet 100 SEK and won the Dream Win of 160 million SEK on Saturday evening. This is the first Dream Win since April 2024 – and the sixth largest ever.
Simultaneously, a Joker win of 10 million SEK went to a player who bet ten SEK.
First Task
– "My first task is to contact the winners. It's fantastic that a Dream Win is awarded again, finally!" says Sofie Hodén, spokesperson at Svenska Spel after the draw on Saturday evening.
– "It will be incredibly exciting to call the winners. No one can prepare for winning 160 million SEK. I will surely encounter both immense joy and shock," she says.
The Dream Win starts at a minimum of 75 million SEK and grows with each draw. To win, one must have seven correct numbers on the lotto and at least two correct on the Joker.
Once Sofie Hodén has successfully contacted the winners, the next step is to arrange bank meetings. All winnings over five million SEK are paid out at a bank meeting where winners are offered financial and legal advice, she explains.
