Swedish Court Seeks UK Assistance to Locate Dermot Clemenger

Örebro District Court is once again requesting legal assistance from the United Kingdom to locate Dermot Clemenger, who is internationally wanted for several charges of purchasing sex.

Of the 31 charges against TV4 and 'Let's Dance' personality Dermot Clemenger, only four remain, as the rest have expired.

The prosecutor and Örebro District Court now seek help from the UK to serve Clemenger with the summons, which would prevent the charges from being dismissed.

While on the run, Clemenger is suspected to be in the UK and Ireland. In March, Expressen found him at a hotel in London.

Previous Attempts Unsuccessful

Documents obtained by Expressen reveal that Örebro District Court is emphasizing the urgency of the matter in their plea for assistance.

"Örebro District Court respectfully requests help to serve the attached documents," the court writes in an email to the UKCA, United Kingdom Crime Agency.

This agency collaborates with the police and others to combat crime in the UK.

Sweden has previously sought their help, but without success.
