SVT's Strategy for 'Allsång på Skansen' After Morrissey's Withdrawal

Just days before the premiere of 'Allsång på Skansen', Morrissey canceled his performance. Now, SVT shares their plan for the show.

Last week, SVT announced a major surprise: the world-renowned artist Morrissey was set to perform at the premiere of 'Allsång på Skansen'.

However, on Sunday, the plan fell through as Morrissey canceled both of his concerts in Sweden. He was also scheduled to perform at Hovet on June 23.

"The pain of not reaching Stockholm this week is devastating for the band and crew," Morrissey wrote on Instagram.

So, what is SVT's plan for 'Allsång på Skansen' after this withdrawal?

In an email to Expressen, the channel stated that there will be no replacement.

Instead, SVT will proceed as planned with artists Zara Larsson, KAJ, Medina, Daniela Rathana, Dr Alban, Da Buzz, and E-type, but declined to comment further on how the program will be affected by the last-minute change.
