The same afternoon, a 26-year-old man was arrested in an apartment in the area.
A neighbor of the suspected murderer previously recounted the police operation to Expressen.
– My 12-year-old daughter, who was out with the dog, saw the ambulance woman come out bleeding. I know the guy who did this. As we understand it, he himself called for an ambulance because he was in such bad shape.
On Monday, he was remanded in custody on probable cause for murder in Hälsingland District Court.
The timing for the detention hearing has not yet been decided.
Convicted of Threats and Violence
The man was charged last spring for threatening a relative with a knife and for hitting the relative with his fists and a pestle. “Okay, the police are outside with an SMG (submachine gun, editor's note) because I have killed someone.”
It has not been officially confirmed that the suspect is the author of the images.
Released from Psychiatric Care
A resident in the area says police have recently been called to the suspect's address.
