Streaming giant Spotify is raising its prices, reports Dagens industri. For Spotify Premium, this means an increase of 10 SEK to 129 SEK per month, while Spotify Duo and Family plans will rise by 20 SEK per month.
After remaining steady at 99 SEK for 12 years, the price of a premium subscription was first increased in 2021. It was raised again in 2023, and now it's time for another adjustment.
“We are constantly working to develop and improve our service, which means we occasionally update our prices to reflect local market conditions and economic factors,” a Spotify spokesperson commented.
Here are the new prices effective from August 4, according to Dagens industri:
- Spotify Premium: 129 SEK (10 SEK increase)
- Spotify Duo: 189 SEK (20 SEK increase)
- Spotify Family: 219 SEK (20 SEK increase)
- Spotify Student: 70 SEK (5 SEK increase)
