Ryanair Expands Routes in Sweden

Low-cost airline Ryanair is further investing in Sweden for the winter 2025 season, the company announced at a press conference.

The airline is adding eight new flight routes from Arlanda, Landvetter, Västerås, and Växjö. In total, the airline will operate 48 routes from five Swedish airports, with around 400 departures per week.

Among the new routes, the airline will start flying between Stockholm and Sarajevo. It will also begin flights to Porto, Malta, Milan, and Thessaloniki from Gothenburg during the winter season. From Växjö, there will be departures to Alicante, while Västerås will have flights to Alicante and Malaga.

Seven aircraft will be part of the Swedish fleet, which is two more than last winter season.
