Companies that disregard recommendations from the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes, where dissatisfied consumers can turn, are more numerous than ever, reports Råd&Rön.

The magazine has compiled a 'blacklist' of companies that do not follow the board's suggestions on how disputes between consumers and companies should be resolved. The list now includes 538 cases involving 355 companies.

These cases involve over 12 million SEK, which the board believes should have been paid out as compensation to customers. The recommendations that are not followed can also involve, for example, repairing broken products.

Airlines Turkish Airlines, Ryanair, and Air France top the magazine's blacklist. The motor industry, particularly cases involving the sale of used cars, and craft businesses also stand out.
