Rain Persists Across Sweden – Sunshine on the Horizon

Sweden has been experiencing a series of rainy days across the country, with more expected. However, sunshine is on the horizon.

The rainy weather seems to be here to stay, according to Per Holmberg, a meteorologist at the weather institute Storm.

– The beginning of the week will remain unstable. Rain is expected in central and northern Norrland, which will later move down to Svealand. Then it will turn back, bringing some rain over Götaland and eastern Svealand, he says.

When the Warmth Arrives

By midweek, a high-pressure system is expected to move over parts of the country, bringing dry and sunny weather.

– Warmer temperatures, between 20-25 degrees, are expected in Götaland and Svealand.

On Thursday, it will be cloudy in the north but remain sunny in the south.

– The high-pressure system seems to hold until the end of the week and over the weekend, says Per Holmberg.
