Pernilla Wahlgren's Playful Jab at SVT Over Earnings
Millions are landing in Pernilla Wahlgren's account, but not from 'Allsång på Skansen'. This week, she took the opportunity to make a playful jab at SVT about her salary. Now, the show's producer Per Blankens reveals more details about the money.
Things are going well for Pernilla Wahlgren.
In 2024, she had an income of nearly 7.6 million SEK and a capital surplus of 29 million.
This doesn't even include her own companies.
On June 24, 'Allsång på Skansen' kicks off again, with Pernilla Wahlgren at the helm.
And she's not doing it for the money.
When she presented this year's lineup of artists, Wahlgren took the chance to give her employer a humorous jab.
– It's truly the world's most fun summer job that I've landed, said Wahlgren during the press conference.
– It's a great honor for me, and a slightly smaller invoice than I'm used to. But money isn't everything, it says here that I should say.
Linus Wahlgren's Words
Joining her this season is her brother Linus Wahlgren, who will perform with Viktor Norén.
– It's the only chance to see my sister this summer, she's working all the time, so I guess I'll join, Linus Wahlgren jokingly told Expressen.
This fall, they will go on tour together and are now offering the sing-along audience a preview.
A decent advertisement for the upcoming tour, in other words.
– Yes, isn't it for everyone? says Linus Wahlgren with a laugh.
Even the artists get paid – but it's not a fortune.
– You don't really do this for the money, it's an honor, I feel, as an artist, to come here. You've been recognized, and I think the artists feel that too. Money and such are usually not a discussion at 'Allsång på Skansen', says the new producer Per Blankens.
– But everyone gets paid, absolutely.
