Here is Djurgården's first new acquisition this summer. AGF Århus star Mikael Anderson has landed at Arlanda, and according to Expressen, the clubs have agreed on a deal. The player will now undergo a medical examination before the final details of the deal are completed.

Expressen revealed the news earlier on Wednesday.

Sports director Bosse Andersson was well on his way to signing AGF Århus star Mikael Anderson, 26, who has been open to leaving the club this summer.

The attacking midfielder has a release clause in his contract worth just over two million euros, equivalent to 22 million kronor, as revealed by Danish Tipsbladet.

Landed in Stockholm

Expressen can now reveal that Anderson has landed in Stockholm. The star arrived at Arlanda on Wednesday evening, and according to Expressen's sources, the clubs are now in agreement.

What remains are a few details and the obligatory medical examination. If Mikael Anderson passes the medical tests, he will then be presented by the Stockholm club.

This will be sports director Bosse Andersson's first new signing this summer, just in time for the Allsvenskan restart this weekend.

Mikael Anderson has been a key player for AGF Århus, scoring 18 goals and providing 18 assists in 121 matches for the Danish club.

The Danish/Icelandic player has also played for FC Midtjylland, Vendsyssel FF, and Excelsior Rotterdam in the Netherlands. His resume includes 33 international caps for Iceland.
