A man has been shot at the Alby subway station outside Stockholm. He was hit by multiple bullets and is seriously injured. Police are still searching for the suspected shooter.
Several reports of gunfire were received by the police around 6:15 PM on Friday evening.
– A person was seen firing several shots, and the perpetrator then fled the scene, says police spokesperson Ola Österling.
The shooting occurred at an entrance to the Alby subway station.
A man has been shot multiple times and has been taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Police are investigating attempted murder.
Suspect Hunt Underway
Subway traffic on the red line between Masmo and Norsborg was halted shortly after the incident, on police orders. Traffic was later resumed.
The police quickly launched an intensive search for the perpetrator.
– We stopped the traffic immediately. We have a huge resource on site, including helicopters and police dogs, says Österling.
Several witnesses have been interviewed, and surveillance footage from the subway station is being examined, but as of 10 PM, no suspect has been apprehended.
