With a year left until the next general election, Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson extends a hand to Center Party leader Anna-Karin Hatt. Ulf Kristersson (M) invites her to discussions within the framework of what he calls a 'growth pact'.
Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson sends letters to the leaders of the Tidö parties, the Sweden Democrats, and the Center Party with an invitation to talks. These are to be held during the autumn, according to the Prime Minister.
– I address those who, in these troubled times, see growth as a crucial issue for our country and our continent. Despite differing opinions on other matters, we can unite on reforms that will long-term increase Swedish growth, says Ulf Kristersson in a speech on Saturday.
Increased growth is needed for the enormous state investments that need to be made in the future, including in defense and the judiciary, according to Kristersson from the stage at Mosebacke in central Stockholm.
– The growth pact is also needed to counter harmful decisions, such as increased taxes on labor, increased taxes on savings, and increased taxes on entrepreneurship, says Ulf Kristersson.
