Four individuals have been stabbed in a massive brawl on a schoolyard in Malmö. Approximately 20 people were reportedly involved.
"At least two of them are seriously injured," says Michael Lind, the duty officer with the police.
The alarm about the large fight at Österportskolan in Malmö came shortly after midnight.
"Knives were used indiscriminately, resulting in four people being hospitalized with stab wounds, two of whom are seriously injured," Michael Lindh, the duty officer with the police, told TT.
According to the report, about 20 people were involved in the chaotic fight, but when the police arrived, only one person—a seriously injured man in his 20s—remained. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
"The other three made their way to the hospital on their own," says Michael Lindh.
The exact details of what happened and what caused the fight are currently unknown to the police. No charges have been filed yet.
"We have not detained anyone as we are trying to sort out what happened and who is responsible," says Michael Lindh.
The area around the school is cordoned off for a technical investigation.
