Klarna's Valuation Could Reach 150 Billion SEK, Analysis Suggests

The value of the Swedish payment company Klarna could be pushed up to 16 billion dollars, equivalent to around 150 billion SEK, according to a recent analysis.

This calculation was made by fintech analyst Diksha Gera at Bloomberg Intelligence, who cites the significant interest in the stock ahead of the anticipated listing.

This would make Klarna one of the highest-valued companies to be introduced on the stock market this year, according to Bloomberg.

According to Klarna's own prospectus, published last week, the valuation could reach up to 130 billion SEK.

Klarna is expected, according to Bloomberg, to list its stock on the New York Stock Exchange this Wednesday. In conjunction with the listing, Klarna aims to raise 1.27 billion dollars in a new share issue.
