JLC Gold Dispute Continues: Mediator Requests More Time

The mediator's deadline to find a solution in the JLC gold dispute has expired, but no resolution has been reached. He is now requesting more time, reports Göteborgs-Posten.

The conflict over the gold discovered by members of the humor group JLC in a house continues to rage.

Since spring, mediator Karl Glimnell has been trying to reach an agreement.

Yesterday, June 18, marked the end of the time Karl Glimnell had to find a solution to the conflict over the gold found by JLC members.

Four parties are involved and have sued each other, each claiming rights to the gold.

Request for More Time

Karl Glimnell has now asked for an additional three months.

– Now summer is coming, and it's difficult to get in touch with people, so I have requested an additional three months, says the mediator.

He does not want to comment on the progress of the negotiations. However, one unnamed party told GP that some progress has been made.

– It's moving slowly forward, but we are still quite far apart, says the person.
