Sverigedemokraterna's prominent member, Jessica Stegrud, participated in filming when activist Nick Alinia, known for his far-right connections, followed and confronted two young men this summer.
– "You cowardly little rat," Alinia is heard saying to one of the men in the video.
"The situation remained threatening, and as I didn't want to stand alone, I followed and started filming," Stegrud writes on X.
Jessica Stegrud is a member of the Swedish Parliament for the Sweden Democrats and a member of the party's board.
Last week, she faced sharp criticism from both the right and left after commenting on the ethnic origins of S-politician Lawen Redar and the moderate culture minister Parisa Liljestrand. Subsequently, the anti-racist magazine Expo revealed that Stegrud had shared content from white power influencer The Golden One.
Now, Expo reports that Stegrud participated in a confrontation of two young men alongside far-right activist Nick Alinia.
Nick Alinia engages in confronting and filming individuals he finds disagreeable, publishing the content on his various channels. According to Expo, he has also repeatedly shared propaganda from the Nazi group Aktivklubb Sverige.
He is often seen with far-right content creator Christian Petersson. His descriptions of opponents are frequently hateful.
"The Moderates are a party full of spineless traitors," he wrote on X last week.
The incident involving Jessica Stegrud occurred on an evening train to Stockholm on July 28, according to Nick Alinia's own publication. One of the men allegedly called him a "fucking whore child."
Later, on the platform at Stockholm Central, the man reportedly told him to kill himself and uttered various insults while standing close.
"Consequences"
He filmed himself following the man in a gray sweater, who he claims insulted him.
– "Follow your leader, you disgusting Nazi," the man is heard saying in the video, as he walks away quickly.
The phrase "follow your leader" can be interpreted as a reference to Adolf Hitler, who shot himself in his bunker when the Third Reich's days were numbered in 1945.
Alinia follows and says:
– "Hey, you cowardly drunk, why don't you dare say who you are?"

He loses track of the man in the gray sweater and turns to aggressively confront another man, who he claims was with the man in gray.
– "You cowardly little rat," he says and continues:
– "Not so cocky anymore?"
– "Damn Nazi pig," the man replies.
Nick Alinia continues to follow him.
– "You were really cocky just now, but not so cocky anymore, huh?" he says.
The video shows another person walking behind Alinia and filming. That person is Jessica Stegrud.
"For My Own Safety"
She writes about the incident on X after Expo's publication, stating that the men behaved threateningly on the train and platform:
"Nick Alinia took out his phone and started filming the men who continued to shout insults while masking themselves and trying to escape the camera. The situation remained threatening, and as I didn't want to stand alone, I followed and started filming. Partly for my own safety, and partly to have evidence if something worse happened."
She also refers to an incident earlier in the summer when she was aggressively confronted by Palestinian activists.
"I now take all threatening situations very seriously."
However, the video shows that the men are trying to leave the situation and do not pose any threat to Alinia or Stegrud in the film he published.
Nick Alinia has also exposed the man in the gray sweater, with his name and family details. According to Expo, comments on the post have included calls for violence against the men being confronted.
Åkesson: Not Spent Much Time
After several media outlets reported on Stegrud's role in the video, Nick Alinia shared it again via Telegram.
"Relevant again," he writes.

Sverigedemokraterna's leader Jimmie Åkesson tells the newspaper Dagens ETC:
– "I haven't spent much time on it either, or what Expo writes. I don't give much for their assessments. I refer to the press department or possibly group leadership."
The man in the gray sweater, exposed by Alinia, declines to comment on the incident.
