
Heatwave Approaches Sweden: What to Expect
An extreme heatwave is sweeping across southern Europe, with temperatures reaching around 40 degrees Celsius. According to meteorologist Páll Ágúst Thórarinsson, some of this heat will make its way to Sweden:

A heatwave is set to hit the southern parts of Europe, with temperatures reaching up to 40 degrees in countries like Spain.
Sweden is also expected to experience warmer weather, though not as extreme. – There will be some precipitation over the weekend. Then it will be sunny and gradually warmer from Sunday through Wednesday, says Páll Ágúst Thórarinsson, meteorologist at Stormgeo.
Temperatures of 25-30 Degrees
At the beginning of next week, warmer air will flow in from the south, reaching up to around Dalarna. The peak temperatures will be around the first and second of July, after which they will slightly decrease. In the Stockholm area, temperatures will reach around 25-28 degrees. In Kronoberg County, it could get as warm as 30 degrees. – It looks like the first week of July will be a real summer week, says Páll Ágúst Thórarinsson. In northern Sweden, there might be some showers until Monday.
After that, the weather will become sunnier. However, temperatures will be somewhat lower compared to the rest of the country, with the warmest being around 20 degrees.
