On Thursday, his former boss spoke about the impact he made there, and his son shared how loved he was within the family.

On Facebook, his ex-girlfriend, who shares a son with Henricson, wrote about their wonderful time together and the sorrow of his passing.

"In 1988, I met my son's father. After a 13-year relationship, we settled into 37 years of deep and sincere friendship. I was your great support. You were my great support through all of life's ups and downs. We shared laughter and tears, views, insights, past and future. For 37 years, we always had endless things to talk about every day. With deep sorrow and great despair, you have left us. A strong man in this life. Rest in peace, our truly movie star," she wrote.

To Expressen, Erika said that Jesper Henricson truly loved his work and enjoyed walking with his large dog.

"Everything in its place with a clear and determined voice, undoubtedly. And confident in his work," she further commented on his professional life and character.
