Gang-Related Rapper Remon '5iftyy' Ghide Wanted for Arrest
Two top figures in the Foxtrot network are wanted for arrest in absentia, including for the murder at a sushi restaurant in Skogås. One of them is the gang-related rapper Remon '5iftyy' Ghide.
In January 2023, a 15-year-old boy was shot in the head at a sushi restaurant in Skogås, south of Stockholm. A 16-year-old boy was convicted of the murder and sentenced to four years of closed juvenile care.
Ten people were charged with involvement in the murder, but several were acquitted. All ten are said to have connections to the Foxtrot network, according to the prosecutor.
Now, two people are wanted for arrest in absentia, also suspected of murder in the Skogås case.
One of them is rapper Remon '5iftyy' Ghide. According to information provided to the prosecutor, he is detained in Tunisia. The other person is also believed to be in the country. The arrested individuals are described as some of Rawa Majid's closest men and are now sought for extradition from Tunisia.
– We have requested the arrest of both, including for the murder in Skogås. In total, it involves seven different cases, says prosecutor Ida Arnell.
Breakthrough in the Investigation
The crimes involve, among other things, preparation for murder, attempted public destruction, murder, and conspiracy to murder. According to the indictment, the two gang leaders committed four of the crimes together.
The arrest follows a breakthrough in the investigation.
– Investigators have gone through an extremely large number of phones, conducted further analyses, and had a breakthrough in April that has led to us being able to request the arrest of both, says Ida Arnell.
She cannot elaborate on what the breakthrough entails.
Denies the Charges
The other suspect denies the charges.
– My client is innocent of the allegations against him, says the man's lawyer Kristofer Stahre.
