The man who was shot dead last Friday near a mosque in Örebro was reportedly a member of a criminal network, according to sources from Nerikes Allehanda and P4 Örebro. A 25-year-old man has been requested for detention, reports P4 Örebro. Three others are in custody, suspected of involvement in the murder.

The murder occurred shortly after the mosque had held Friday prayers.
According to prosecutor Mats Ihlbom, who is leading the investigation, about 1,200 people were present when the man, in his mid-20s, was shot dead.
"There were an enormous number of people there. So the evidence situation is good, and I am optimistic that it will be solved," he says.
One person was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of aiding and abetting the murder but was later released.
"The investigation has shown that this person had nothing to do with the events, so it is highly likely they will be completely cleared of suspicion," says Mats Ihlbom.
