Former Teacher Ulf Blomqvist Faces New Charges for Secret Filming at School

Former physical education teacher Ulf Blomqvist, 48, is once again facing charges for secretly filming children. He is already in prison for filming over 100 young girls at the school where he worked. The new charges relate to crimes committed in 2010 and 2011.

In the summer of 2022, Ulf Blomqvist, then a teacher at a prestigious school in Stockholm, was discovered filming young girls as they changed clothes. This led to a raid by the national task force on his apartment, where they found numerous images and videos taken by the former teacher of over 100 young girls over several years.

In May 2024, he was sentenced to three and a half years in prison for serious child pornography offenses, offensive photography, and sexual harassment.

Simultaneously, the police began investigating several incidents from earlier years at two schools in Haninge. During this investigation, approximately 160 probable victims of his filming were identified. The suspected crimes, including child pornography offenses and sexual harassment, occurred from 2006 to 2016.

Now, the first of these charges has been filed in Södertörn District Court. Ulf Blomqvist is charged with sexual harassment, after allegedly filming a complainant on a school in Haninge municipality on three occasions between November 2010 and May 2011.

Prosecutor Åsa Valter told Expressen that additional charges against Ulf Blomqvist will be filed on Tuesday.
