Fire Engulfs Hells Angels Clubhouse in Gothenburg

A major fire broke out at the Hells Angels clubhouse in Gunnilse, Gothenburg, early Saturday morning.

– It looks like the entire building will burn down, says L-O Nordström from the rescue services.

At around 3:30 AM, police and rescue services were dispatched to the address following reports of a fully developed fire.

The premises are "used by a motorcycle club," according to the police. Images from the scene show the Hells Angels emblem on the facade.

About ten people were inside the building when the fire started, according to Göteborgs-Posten. Initially, there are no reports of injuries.

– According to people on site, no one remains in the building, says police spokesperson Jens Andersson.

The rescue services expect to remain on site for some time.

– We anticipate staying well into Saturday, says L-O Nordström, operations manager.

The cause of the fire is unknown.

A preliminary investigation into arson has been launched.
