Swedish fashion retail sales continue to rise for the third consecutive month, with clothing sales up by 6.3% and shoe sales by 11.9% in August. Premium retail has seen a significant boost, increasing by 16.7%, as consumers show strong interest in autumn collections.

For the third consecutive month, sales of both clothing and shoes are on the rise, according to the monthly style index from Svensk Handel.
Clothing sales increased by 6.3% in August compared to the same month last year, while shoe sales rose by 11.9%.
Notably, the premium retail sector has gained momentum over the past month, showing a 16.7% increase.
"From our member companies, we receive reports of strong sales and well-visited stores, where consumers are particularly interested in autumn's new arrivals. This applies to the low, mid, and premium segments," says Sofia Larsen, CEO of Svensk Handel, in a press release.
