Edward af Sillén Announces Engagement: 'We're Overjoyed'

Engagement joy for Edward af Sillén! The Eurovision personality proposed to his fiancé during a trip to Asia.

"We're just overjoyed," the screenwriter told Expressen.

When Edward af Sillén, 42, appeared on "Afternoon" on P3 with Christopher Garplind and Hanna Hellström, they noticed a ring on his finger.

It was then revealed that the director and screenwriter is newly engaged.

"It's the first time for me. So we're just overjoyed," Edward af Sillén said when Expressen called.

The TV personality, who recently commented on Eurovision for SVT, did not disclose the identity of his fiancé. However, he shared on the P3 program that the couple has been together for three years.

Edward af Sillén got down on one knee and proposed to his love during a trip to Asia.

"Yes, during the Asia trip, I took out the ring and proposed, and thank goodness he said yes," af Sillén said.
