A couple on Öland, Sweden, is offering their villa for free, provided the new owner covers the relocation costs. The house, built in 1980, includes three bedrooms, a walk-in closet, and more. If no one takes the entire house, they plan to give away parts like doors and windows.

Göran Berg and Kerstin Persson on Öland are giving away their house, provided someone relocates it.
Kerstin Persson, 62, and Göran Berg, 68, run a farm in Borgholm on Öland.
On their property, directly opposite their 19th-century home, stands a modular house from Hultsfredshus, built in 1980 by Göran's parents.
Since 2015, it has remained vacant.
Now, the couple wants to part with the villa because it is too close to their home for them to feel comfortable selling or renting it out.
– It is in the garden right behind our house, side by side with only a few meters in between.
With the help of one of their daughters, they have advertised it. The entire house is being given away, as reported by Barometern.
However, the new owner must cover all relocation costs.
– It depends on the distance, but it's probably not free, says Kerstin Persson.
The house includes three bedrooms, a walk-in closet, double living rooms, a large terrace, and two bathrooms with green and orange porcelain from Höganäs.
So far, about 40 people have contacted them through their daughter. If no one can or wants to move the entire house, plan B is to give away parts of it, such as doors, windows, and the kitchen or garage.
– But it would be so much fun if it could be moved entirely. I think someone handy can manage it, says Kerstin Persson.
