Coop Recalls 'Extreme Sour Fusion' Ice Cream Due to Missing Warning Label
Coop has issued a recall for the 'Extreme Sour Fusion' ice cream. The reason for the recall is the lack of a warning label indicating the product's extreme sourness.
The ice cream, 'Extreme Sour Fusion', 330 ml, has been pulled from sale in Coop's Swedish stores.
"The reason for the recall is the absence of a label warning that the product may cause discomfort for sensitive consumers," Coop stated in a press release.
The ice cream is extremely sour, and a few customers have reported mouth irritation after consuming it. Coop regrets the incident and the fact that the ice cream did not have a warning about its high citric acid content.
Customers who have purchased the ice cream but have not consumed it can return it to the store.
